Without religions, the majority of the wars in this world would not have happend.
Intially religions have not been bad: Most people have the question, where do we come from and where are we going to - that is the more philosphical aspect. Religions can give some thoughts - but no _answers._
But religions are not philosophical, they are an instrument of power and surpression, an effictive methode to manipulate people who are afraid to live.
Here in Germany more and more people leave the churches and enjoy their life. Good sign!

Alas, science is not entirely _good_ too. Lots of lies, theses taken for truths, and large egos make science sometimes look like religions...

I STONGLY DISAGREE, however getting rid of Kim J Il would be AWESOME.

The problem is not the leader (he can be replaced) it is the methodology of the countries governing institution. It has been known since the collapsed in Russia that socialism or whatever you choose to define it, simply doesn't work without consequence to civil liberties.

I have never been one to do anything, well about anything, until I reach a boiling point, so to speak. However if I had the funding or the means, I would pay for or personally do the deed of capturing or killing Kim J II. I honestly would dedicate I large period of time and money to this, if I knew for sure it would change the country and someone wouldn't just replace him.

I understand in some small way, why J II is the way he is, although he still has a choice in how the country is run. He demands respect and creates fear instead of strengthening the entire country and earning respect.

If killing Kim J Il (or another future leader of North Korea) meant generations of human lives saved or helped, and a democracy or other democracy-like institution was upheld I would dedicate my life to it.

Nevertheless, such a possibility is unlikely, because without the help of a one or (hopefully) several militarized and cooperative countries for the reformation of North Korea (or an internal uprising/rebellion by the people & military personal), such an en devour is impossible, irrational and possibly insane. Even if say a large group of people (or private contributor/company) had the funding and means to capture (which would be preferable) Kim J who would restructure the country, this would be a replication of Iraq and Saddam where America's removal the tyrant made way for other militias to fight for control and created a far different and possibly much worse problem (which in the long-run may have been there plan anyway hint, hint... OIL $$$$$$$$).
To the point without removing the current leader, possibly his regime members also, AND restructuring N Korea there is no purpose to killing him.

Your hatred is warranted however your target is off. Kimmy may deserve to die (I really hope there leader is that paranoid and reads my nick-name for him :) but that WILL NOT solve the real problem. The problem is "socialism" (China is better, but awful in many ways).

It's plausible a democratic revolution would occur, however in the course of history, it is the people who must want democracy, even with outside help (Iraq). Let's not forget democracy is not perfect either. The undermining of civil rights and equality of all citizens and persons of a country by a government is the worst thing for any form of government. In the United states supposedly the greatest democracy in the world, the government or executive branch of government under GW Bush interfered with the right to "habeus corpus", essentially innocence until proven guilty by court of law (& jury of peers) and the protection from arbitrary state/government action.

Bottom line if killing solved all the world's problems don't you think humans would be living in a Utopian society by now?

No, I think capturing Kimmy would show the N Koreans just how unspectacular the leader, they've been duped into believing is wonderful and god-like, really is. Then reforming the country, so long as no new regime or tyrant had time to regroup and take control, only a small amount of military action would be needed to help North Korea.
